Athletics
Welcome Parents and Student/Athletes,
As we all look forward to another exciting year of Missisquoi Athletics, we can briefly look back of some of our success last year. The Field Hockey won the school’s first ever State Championship, our Track and Field team won a State Championship in the girls’ 4×400 meter relay race and Ryan Gerrity was the State Champion in the 200 meter and 400 meter races. The Varsity Baseball team tried to make it two straight championships but came up just short.
Please read carefully the Athletic Digest which includes the Athletic Philosophy, athletic rules such as academic eligibility and training rules, the protocol for registering concerns and the parent/coach communication plan. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the school.
I wish all the student/athletes the best of luck in the upcoming sports seasons and academic school year.

MVU’s Senior Matt St. Amour Joins Exclusive Club
MVU would like to congratulate Matt St. Amour!
Matt St. Amour became part of Vermont’s All-Time Scoring Leaders during the February 22nd basketball game held at MVU against Vergennes. The Thunderbirds beat Vergennes with a score of 71-64, with 35 of those points being scored by Matt! Needing only 20 points to reach his 2000 point benchmark, Matt’s 35 point scoring within the game launched him into the exclusive club of Vermont’s All-Time Scoring Leaders, which until his admittance had only 5 members.
